Alerts
Know what your agent is doing — the moment it happens.
Charton sends you alerts whenever something relevant happens — an order is transmitted, a position closes, an agent stops, or a signal waits for your approval. Alerts help you monitor activity without implying that Charton monitors suitability or manages your account.
What triggers alerts
How alerts are delivered
Alerts are sent through two channels:
Web app notifications
Real-time push notifications inside the Charton platform. When you are logged in, alerts appear immediately. Missed alerts are stored and accessible in your notification history.
Alerts are also sent to your registered email — useful when you are away from the platform. Each email includes the relevant context so you know exactly what happened.
Mobile app notifications are not available at this time.
Approving trades in semi-automatic mode
When an agent is set to semi-automatic, it does not send orders without your approval — it waits for you. When a signal is ready, you receive an alert. Clicking on it takes you directly to the relevant page in the platform where you can review and approve or reject the trade.
Coming in the future
Custom alert conditions — such as triggering a notification when drawdown exceeds a certain threshold or when a strategy loses a set number of trades in a row — are planned for a future update. The current system focuses on execution and agent events.
